THE ROLE

Indigo Wild is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as a financial co-pilot to key business partners across the organization. This role is responsible for building structured, insightful financial analyses to drive smarter decisions across operations, product development, marketing, and sales. This is a highly analytical and collaborative position that blends financial modeling and analysis, and storytelling with numbers. You’ll help translate business questions into actionable insights, identify opportunities for margin and efficiency improvement, and guide stakeholders toward financially sound decisions as Zum continues to scale.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Modeling & Analysis

  • Build dynamic models to evaluate business scenarios, investment decisions, pricing strategies, and margin performance.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities — translating findings into clear business insights.
  • Conduct product and customer profitability analyses to inform assortment, pricing, and promotional decisions.
  • Develop ROI models for new initiatives, product launches, capital investments, and strategic projects.
  • Establish and manage SKU and Customer economic analytics, including a margin target setting and review process.
  • Provide financial analysis on an ad hoc and/or special projects as required

Decision Support & Business Partnership

  • Act as a strategic partner to key functions (e.g., Supply Chain, Product, Sales, Marketing), providing financial perspective and rigor in planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with department leads to develop budgets, forecasts, and business cases aligned with company goals.
  • Support cost/benefit analysis for operational changes and process improvements.
  • Help teams understand the financial impact of their decisions, fostering ownership and accountability.

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Support monthly reporting and variance analysis to explain performance drivers at both summary and detailed levels.
  • Enhance forecasting accuracy by identifying key assumptions and aligning with cross-functional input.
