Job Description: 

The Marketing Coordinator is a full-time position focusing on all aspects of The Teff Company’s digital marketing and brand development programs. The Marketing Coordinator manages SEO, social media platforms, coordinates marketing efforts (email, customer outreach, special events), maintains the website, and creates new media.  This position is responsible for the development and execution of marketing communications and digital content that support the strategic objectives of The Teff Company. 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Social and Digital Media

  • Take ownership of social media posting calendar and execute regular posting on primary social platforms supporting The Teff Company’s strategic priorities while remaining consistent with brand voice and image
  • Leverage social media platforms and best practices to maximize engagement with The Teff Company’s followers and target audiences
  • Determine meaningful social media KPI’s and use those to drive actions towards improving them
  • Facilitate ongoing improvements to The Teff Company’s website
  • Develop campaigns for new markets based on SEO analytics
  • Other related duties / projects, as needed Marketing Content
  • Verify marketing material through research and testing
  • Collaborate with Sales to generate marketing content aligned with company strategies
  • Develop brand identity content and company profile
  • Conduct research and outreach for recipe development and testing
  • Attend food networking events
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with local food alliances
  • Projects (i.e., culinary breeding network) SEO & Data Analytics
  • Research and implement new strategies and advancements in paid search, monitoring effectiveness towards goals, conversions and events
  • Monitor campaign progress, report on findings, formulate insights from data
  • Report on business trends and marketing vehicle performance to Management
  • Newsletter and segmentation analysis
  • Explore ways to collect, structure and utilize data to improve and inform content creation

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related business field required
  • Experience of 1-2 years in a Marketing position or related position
  • Strong familiarity with Google Analytics & Google Ads
  • Strong familiarity with common social media platforms m(Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Self-motivated, curious and comfortable with ambiguity mtypical of a small, growing company
  • Diligent and consistent ability to follow-through on projects
  • Strong organizational aptitude, analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively, as mrequired, to complete projects and initiatives
  • Enthusiasm for natural foods and agriculture, a plus

  • Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time
  • Understand that safety is the responsibility of everyone at the organization
  • Engage in safety and compliance training programs
