Job Description: 
Xlear® is the leading manufacturer of xylitol-based products in the USA.
 
We provide simple and cost-effective prevention. We are committed to providing natural, health-enhancing products based on the safety, effectiveness, and science of xylitol. We offer drug-free sinus and dental/oral care, gum, and mints, as well as a line of natural Xylitol sweeteners.

We are seeking (2) candidates in Sales Support roles for the NE region of the USA to join our team in a hybrid capacity. The primary focus is on the health food sales channel. The ideal candidate must reside in any one of these states: IL, MA, MI, NJ, NY (5 boroughs, Long Island, Westchester) , OH, PA (Philadelphia area), and WI – in a city that has easy access to all forms of transportation including but not limited to, airport, train station and automobile.

This person must be focused, disciplined, motivated and capable of setting and maintaining a daily workflow.  You will work very closely and be fully aligned with our Regional Sales Managers on all tasks and responsibilities, continuing to grow our sales and expand our brand presence in the independent health food retailers and health food chains.  
 
Essential Functions & Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and grow sales with independent health food retailers.
  • When performing retail audits, report on competitive brands / items / strategies.
  • Support and attend relevant trade shows.
  • Conduct product training and demos at retailers.
  • 25 - 30% travel.
  • 70 – 75% in your office contacting retailers
Knowledge / Skills / Requirements:
  • This is a full-time role.
  • Experience working within the natural sales channel.
  • Familiar with retailers in the NE region, but not limited to.
  • Experience working with distributors such as UNFI, Threshold and Palko
  • Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Motivated, passionate and goal oriented
  • Good communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate good organizational skills.
  • Knowledge navigating SPINS
  • Positive attitude.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and have a reliable form of transportation.
  • Knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft, Excel, Power Point, and Word.
