Job Description: 

New Generation Wellness, a leader in quality manufacturing of nutritional products for over 90 years, seeks to grow the talent of its Accounting team with a Regional Account Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Account Management:

Creates annual business strategy for outlined territory to achieve sales & profit goals. Meets with and develops strategy for account growth, develops and maintains competitive edge in marketplace. Achieves sales & growth targets by meeting sales forecast in areas of New Product, APL and New Account expansion. Prospects new accounts weekly by phone and in person. Expands APL through frequent communication with top accounts and recommends items for addition to APL. Communicates new product roll out to all accounts at time of launch. Consults with store owners and management to assist with private label merchandising. Presents quarterly strategic reports to Director of Sales. Acts as an account liaison with Customer Service and other internal departments.

Territory Development:
Manages and grows sales in current base business in a manner that yields robust annual sales with the objective of achieving or exceeding annual sales and profit goals. Prepares annual monthly call cycle for calendar year approval by Director of Sales. Travels to all accounts on their call cycle (as call cycle dictates) with a maximum of 6 allowed home office days monthly (excluding international). Enters call cycle monthly on Outlook calendar and shares with Director of Sales. Reviews and analyzes quarterly sales, gap, new product and new account reports (KPD) roll ups; assesses and evaluates growth potential and provides a detailed business strategy to Director of Sales. Develops and maintains a promotional strategy for key accounts within assigned territory. Assists and provides retail partners with feedback regarding product additions, changes or deletions to maintain profitable product line. Represents company at industry trade shows to promote company and product. Helps create, analyze and control expenditures of region to conform to expense budget requirements. Participates in monthly conference call meetings to discuss sales strategies and processes. with company management and technical departments. Keeps current on competitive, technical and product information. Adapts and presents Vitamer PowerPoint training, marketing or sales data presentations to deliver sales growth for region. Produces and presents KPD/sales reports to assist accounts and prospects in decision making. Places orders for select accounts as needed. Conducts periodic market surveys to understand the account and competitor landscape, supply data to the management team. Completes appropriate paperwork as needed (i.e. expense reports, goals reporting, territory reports, etc.).

New Business Development:
Develops new accounts: 25% of time dedicated to New Business Development. Achieves annual New Product sales forecast. Meets or exceeds annual APL sales forecast and new account forecast. Creates promotional scheduling for upcoming year to Director of Sales by EO October for the upcoming calendar year. Maintains active follow-up of sales cycle to prospective customers. Travels to the customer site and/or train potential customers as needed or directed. Negotiates pricing and product promotions, within the guidelines set forth by sales management. Performs other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors’ degree in Sales or related concentration from an accredited University. 3+ years related Sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience and proven success selling in the foods/nutritional industry preferred. Able to multi-task and work effectively in an entrepreneurial environment. Experience with pricing, promotions, and distribution strategies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor presentations to groups of varying size. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong analytical thinking with ability to combine data from multiple source to analyze problems and create inspired solutions. Experience with most CRM Technologies. Able to travel frequently with a maximum of 6 home office days per month. Able to occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
