Job Description: 

The goal of Jarrow Formulas® is to promote optimal health with high-quality, effective, affordable, and superior formulation of dietary supplements. Our staff of scientists and health professionals are actively involved in clinical studies and continually work with researchers from universities and institutes around the world.

Jarrow Formulas is hiring a Northern California Territory Manager to generate new business, grow sales and provide sales support to Northern California retailers and business owners.


  1. Develops and manages assigned territory by applying strong sales skills to prospect, qualify, quote and close business in both existing and new accounts thus generating profitable growth for the company with focus on Northern California.
  2. Develops marketing strategies, promotions, and tactics to maximize revenue within the assigned territory and meet monthly and yearly sales quotas.
  3. Duties may also involve representing Jarrow Formulas in tradeshows and conferences.
  4. Responsible for increasing shelf space in establishments, up-selling, developing new business through leads, cold calling and prospecting.
  5. Submits Call Reports to National Sales Manager as requested.
  6. Sells new brands and additional products to established customers.
  7. May perform related additional duties as may be assigned by manager.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
  9. Travel required.


  1. Responds to e-mails, phone calls, and other communications in a professional manner.
  2. Communicates respectfully with fellow staff and supports company goals and project-related assignments.
  3. Informs manager of unanticipated absences according to company protocols.
  4. Adheres to all procedures and policies as dictated in the employee handbook.
  5. Protects organization’s values by keeping learned information confidential.
