Job Description: 

The Sales Reporting Analyst contributes to Himalaya’s success by analyzing past and current business trends to support the organization’s Sales and Marketing strategy across channels (brick and mortar and e-comm). This person will be responsible for data collection, data management, and data reporting. This role requires a highly self-motivated individual with strong business acumen, analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead recurring sales reports utilizing internal and external (Nielsen, SPINS, and retailer/e-tailer scan data) data to inform business performance, pricing trends, competitive activity, distribution opportunities, and promotional effectiveness while maintaining a high level of data integrity
  • Create and analyze ad-hoc reports as needed to generate actionable insights and solutions to move the business forward
  • Assist in development of external sales presentations by providing inputs on relevant and current sales trends
  • Provide ongoing support to sales team as it relates to use and understanding of reports and reporting resources
  • Maintain new item and new customer classifications in SAP and internal CRM software
  • Reconcile sales and inventory for business partners on consignment

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business (e.g. Finance, Marketing), Economics, or related discipline preferred
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • 1 year of experience or comprehensive internship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of syndicated data sources (e.g. SPINS, Nielsen, IRI) and digital analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Shopify)
  • Experience with SAP and SAS
  • >1 year of experience
