JOB FILLED - Territory Sales Managers

We are one of the oldest natural and organic food company in North America and the largest independent manufacturer of dry grocery organic foods. We are expanding and need territorial sales managers across the USA and Canada to manage relationships and merchandise our products with retailer and distributors.

You:

  • Have a natural ability to cultivate relationships with food brokers, distributors and retailers at all levels.
  • Entrepreneurial willingness to take initiative to increase sales with enthusiasm.
  • Educating people about natural products is your passion and you understand the criteria how natural products are compared.
  • Enjoy travelling independently as part of your career.
  • Have professional experience and knowledge of natural food industry (10 years).
  • Stay abreast of status and changes of industry distribution channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify prospects to identify new business, enhanced merchandising, and increase distribution.
  • You will be responsible for developing, articulating, and carryout a strategic plan and tactics to nurture business relationships, product knowledge, and merchandising.
  • Utilize and manage brokers, distributors, and Eden staff to accomplish what is needed. As well as providing brokers, distributors, and retailers in the territory with measurable goals.
  • Coordinate sales efforts as needed with distributor and retailers.
  • Learn Eden's personnel and business systems to be able to utilize them. Manage business consistent with Eden Terms of Sale and Incentive Agreement system.
  • Align your work with Eden sales and marketing needs and efforts. Communicate Company messages consistent with Eden's strategy, needs, and Terms of Sale.
  • Disciplined use of Salesforce CRM software on home, mobile, and head office devices. Consistently update and maintain accurate Company databases and pertinent business information.

All regional/territory business managers report to Eden Foods’ National Sales Manager.
