Job Description: 

We’re seeking a Sales Associate to join Sempera Organics. The sales associate is responsible for ensuring that our customers will have an exceptional experience in interacting and purchasing products from us. You will be the direct point of contact with our customers and ensuring their needs and expectations are met. You will know our nutraceutical products inside and out and guide our customers through the purchase process efficiently and satisfactorily. You will work closely with the business, marketing, and operations team to consistently ensure a memorable customer experience. As one of our brand ambassadors, you will amplify our brand values of openness, transparency and trust.

• Handling all inbound queries through our website, online marketplaces, and phone calls
• Answer customer questions promptly and follow up
• Make recommendations for the customer
• Send out purchase orders and quotations to customers
• Close deals and assist in processing payments and product shipping
• Develop leads and referrals
• Achieve monthly sales quotas
• Acquire new customers by reaching out to leads through online searches
• Conduct research on customer's individual or business purchase needs
• Serve existing customers by optimizing current purchase plan
• Adjust sales tactics based on tests and new insights in the field
• Resolve customer complaints and queries
• Inform management of purchase actions
• Conduct market research and monitors competitor activity
• Maintain CRM with customer contact and account updates

• High school degree or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in commission sales, outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience
• Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
• Ability to establish rapport and close sales
• Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new people all day
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrable ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers
• Persuasive and goal-oriented
• Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
• Eager to expand company with new sales and clients
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Tenacity to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitude when reaching next potential client
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite  (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce/Hubspot experience highly desirable
• Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
