Job Description:

Create formulas and develop prototype and benchtop samples of custom fortified dietary supplement blends and functional nutrients

Develop strategic partnerships with external industry leaders and internal stakeholders to generate new and innovative opportunities

Determine the maturity or stability of raw ingredients; evaluates the safety, quality, and nutritional value of finished products

Interact with cross functional teams (including quality, procurement, supply chain, and manufacturing) to resolve issues that may arise during new product development or existing product improvement

Conduct sensory testing, texture analysis, and color analysis of different gummy supplements

Comply with company procedural guidelines, laboratory procedures, and safety programs
Education and Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry or related area required; Master’s degree preferred

Experience working with Genesis software or similar software
-
At least three years of related experience highly preferred

Experience working within the natural foods channel, dietary supplement, or pharmaceutical industry
