About This Role:
You are a strategic and dynamic marketing manager who would join Evive to help shape and execute our trade and shopper marketing strategies for the USA and Canada. This position works with key marketing and sales stakeholders to design trade marketing programs to expedite growth through our distributor, broker and retail partners. This position also partners with sales & marketing to design and bring our shopper marketing programs to life.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a strong track record of launching various trade programs in the USA and Canada
  • Deep understanding of the broker, account & distributor networks in both countries
  • Be a creative thinker capable of coming up with new ways of enticing our partners to partner more deeply with us, support Evive and work hard to get products off the shelf and into baskets.
  • Be adept at fielding and interpreting consumer research, as well as mining marketing analytics in order to drive insight-based opportunities
  • Be a skilled verbal and written communicator who can build support for their ideas, drive progress toward organizational goals, and build win-win relationships with cross-functional partners

Essential Functions:
  • This role specializes in working with retailers and/or distributors to build custom marketing plans that will lead to improved sales velocities.
  • These activities include: primary and secondary display development within the freezer, product knowledge & education, appreciation and incentives, digital marketing and custom content and account activations that tie to the overall Evive marketing plans.
  • The Evive Trade & Shopper Marketing specialist will work with the broader marketing and sales teams to develop and execute retailer and instore consumer facing plans.
  • You’ll recommend optimizations to our assets and work with the HQ Marketing Team to design, improve or bring new tools to life.
  • Development, budgeting and execution of out of store marketing activities; including but not limited to trade shows, retailer events, etc.
  • Min of 2 X Canada and 2X USA trade shows/year
  • Build sales tools such as selling decks, sell sheets, trackers and data presentations for the internal and broker sales teams.
  • This role will oversee the strategy & execution of the demo programs for Canada & USA
  • Lead the implementation of marketing strategies through visual merchandising, customized promotional programming, digital marketing and sales velocity focused execution.
  • The ideal candidate has experience in trade marketing and is familiar with the retail landscape in Canada & the USA

Experience you must have:
  • 5+ years of Trade and Shopper experience
  • Strong in planning, work-flow structuring, monitoring
  • Solid analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Experience with Asana, Google Suite, ERP or other project management tools a plus
  • Ability to travel within Canada & the USA
Potential Travel:
  • 1 - 2 trade shows in the USA/ year
  • 1 -2 trade shows in Canada/year
  • 2-4 trips to HQ in Montreal/ year
