RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to establish and follow key processes.
  • Lead, train, and coach the accounting team, ensuring efficient and accurate work.
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts, assist in the monthly close-out process, and support the company’s annual audit.
  • Maintain a close eye on A/R balances and report any concerns.
  • Prepare financial entries, budget allocations, operating budgets, and tax filings.
  • Provide financial reports to summarize and project the company’s financial position.
  • Collaborate with IT to enhance systems and resolve issues in a fast-paced business environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferred.
  • 5+ years of related experience in accounting, finance, or similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial regulations.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet applications.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook) with advanced skills in financial software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 is highly desirable.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clarity and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of demonstrating accuracy, thoroughness, and dependability in financial reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with team members, management, and external partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Experience in coaching and supervising teams to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
