Position Overview:
The Senior Vice President of Conventional Sales serves as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing strategies that drive performance, growth, and operational excellence across the Conventional Channel sales department. This individual is an entrepreneurial leader who combines strategic vision with a hands-on approach—guiding teams, optimizing sales processes, and identifying new business opportunities. The role requires strong accountability, consistent communication, and a proactive focus on continuous improvement. Responsibilities Include:

This leader will be responsible for cultivating a culture of empowerment and success, aligning team goals with the company’s broader strategy, and overseeing all day-to-day operations within the Conventional Channel. They will design and refine systems and processes, guide strategic development and tactical execution, and stay ahead of evolving market conditions by closely monitoring trends, competitors, and customer dynamics.
- Relationship building is central to this position. The Senior Vice President will maintain strong partnerships with retailers, distributors, manufacturers, and other key stakeholders across the industry, while also fostering collaboration across internal departments and the leadership team. Active participation in industry events, panels, and thought-leadership opportunities will help strengthen the company’s position within the natural and conventional marketplace.
- This position carries responsibility for setting and managing strategic and operational sales goals, developing business plans, and establishing metrics to measure performance across the team. The leader in this role will utilize analytical tools, dashboards, and performance reviews to ensure each team member is progressing toward measurable objectives while maintaining focus on broader company targets.
- Equally important is the commitment to developing people. The Senior Vice President will design and implement an ongoing education and training framework that supports team members throughout their careers—from onboarding to advanced sales development—while serving as a hands-on mentor and coach.
- A deep understanding of data and analytics will be essential. The successful candidate will rely on various data platforms and distributor data to assess performance, identify growth opportunities, and guide fact-based selling strategies that meet or exceed expectations.

Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will bring 10 to 15 years of progressive leadership experience, with prior tenure in a Vice President or comparable senior management position strongly preferred.
- The role requires a confident, diplomatic, and collaborative professional—someone adept at navigating complex business challenges and fostering productive partnerships in a dynamic environment.
- This individual will demonstrate exceptional leadership and motivational ability, combining entrepreneurial agility with the proven skill to lead, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams.
- A well-established network of senior-level relationships within the conventional retail channel will be advantageous, along with a consistent record of designing and executing strategies that drive sustainable, high-growth outcomes.
- The position will also require regular travel, estimated at approximately 50 percent of the time, to maintain relationships and oversee key initiatives across the business.
- Unquestioned integrity, sound judgment, and high ethical standards are essential, as is a transparent communication style that supports open dialogue and alignment across the executive team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, strong time management capabilities, and the ability to balance multiple priorities are expected.
