CC Brokerage & Co is an independently owned multi-state brokerage dedicated to representing premium, high-quality brands in supplements and body care. We specialize in regeneratively farmed herbal remedies and are passionate about the natural products industry.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Brand Representative to demo our products in natural food stores throughout the PDX area. The ideal candidate will possess strong people skills, a deep understanding of our product offerings, and a passion for sharing knowledge about the benefits and core values of our brands. This role primarily involves weekend work, with flexibility up to 25 hours per week, and demos are scheduled in shifts of 2-3 hours between 11 AM and 7 PM.
Position Type: Independent Contractor
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and execute in-person sampling events using vendor-provided materials.
- Provide detailed demo reports post-events.
- Conduct audits of retailer inventories.
- Train retail sales associates on brand knowledge when needed.
- Stay current on product studies and participate in vendor training sessions.
- Deliver friendly and supportive customer service at all times.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in the Natural Products Industry.
- Familiarity with regional natural channel retailers.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to plan demos effectively.
- Capacity to overcome obstacles and objections.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and sales goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and other file-sharing platforms.
- Passion for natural products and ongoing product education.
- Ability to store and manage a small product inventory for car stock.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel county wide.
- Must have a laptop and cell phone for work-related tasks.
