A portion of all our sales benefit a scholarship fund we have created in partnership with the Colorado Outward Bound School that provides young adults with three-week-long outdoor leadership programs in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Utah, Alaska, and Wyoming.

Our In-House Sales Representative is dedicated to enhancing the experience for customers by providing excellence in service, solutions, and knowledge for our Alpine Provisions brand.  The In-House Sales Rep is the first point of contact for potential new wholesale customers to the brand.  This position involves creating and following up on new account leads, sending information and samples to interested accounts, processing their orders, introducing them to new product introductions, and managing any issues that arise for a positive outcome. The In-House Sales Rep is also responsible for contacting existing accounts for follow up and to introduce new products.
This key position must demonstrate active listening skills and display exceptional verbal and written communication throughout all communication platforms.  They must show a sense of urgency in handling leads and customer inquiries in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer email and call inquiries quickly and professionally for brand and product inquiries, orders, shipping, and customer complaints within one business day
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining a Wholesale In-House Sales tracker and within our Salesforce CRM system to manage all leads provided by the team, leads sourced personally, and opportunities within existing accounts
  • Expectation of 75 customer touches a day, after on-boarding period
  • Create a regular system of communication, utilizing Salesforce, for initial contact, follow up, samples sent, responses, and orders placed
  • Develop phone and email scripts for clear and timely communication
  • Upsell as Wholesale accounts see success with limited assortments to build to full assortments
  • Provide early notification to potential and existing accounts of new product launches
  • Analyze successes and opportunities to adjust sales presentation and report out as requested
  • Build rapport with customers through friendly, engaging, and consistent communication
  • Be aware of current and incoming product inventory levels and alert supervisor to low inventory levels, increase in specific product trend, or slow moving items
  • Provide recommendations to enhance communication initiatives that will drive result-driven activities and improve processes

TEAMWORK

  • Assist in special projects as needed. For example, summary of accounts by sales category, provide feedback on product concerns, etc.
  • As we grow our brand story to multiple brands, apply job description to expanded brands and wider responsibility while maintaining the highest level of In-House Sales service
  • Collaborate as requested to support the team for various needs such as in-store support, special shipments, collection of mail and payment deposits, etc.

ADDITIONAL JOB EXPECTATIONS

  • Demonstrable attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task oriented role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of the Pangea Team
  • Flexibility to work scheduled hours: will primarily be Monday through Friday and may include early evenings and weekends based on business needs
  • Consistent and reliable attendance

In-House Sales Representative Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of In-House Sales (outgoing call experience a must)
  • Proven track record of successful sales productivity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and telephone manner
  • Familiarity with CRM tracking system (Salesforce a plus), Google Email and Drive, Excel, and overall strong computer-related skills
  • Order entry system familiarity with set up and order placement
  • Retail experience and Natural Health & Beautycare experience a plus

Compensation/Salary: 
$30,000 - $40,000 plus commission of up to $40,000 annually
