Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Brand Insights and Communication Manager to join our team. This role is integral to our company's success, combining operational support and reporting responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and be comfortable working directly with clients at a high level. You will synthesize information from various team members and create actionable feedback for the brands we represent. Additionally, this role involves leading brand reviews and meetings. This position is remote although there is a strong preference for the candidate to be located in San Diego. Some travel is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to provide visibility into key performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and present findings in a coherent and compelling manner.
- Client Communication and Coordination:
- Act as a central point of contact for internal teams and clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment on key initiatives.
- Provide high-level support to clients, addressing their needs and delivering information effectively and professionally.
- Prepare and distribute internal and external communications, including meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items.
- Operational Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of company events, meetings, and other special projects.
- Collaborate with team to update Salesforce on key account updates.
- Provide insight into making Salesforce functionality better for the team.
- Lead brand reviews and meetings.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with department heads and team members to gather and consolidate information for brand feedback and reporting.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of brand strategies, goals, and performance metrics to support effective communication and decision-making.
- Foster a positive, productive team environment by providing operational support and promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Qualifications:
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI. • 3 years of experience in the CPG food and beverage industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in reporting or a similar role.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients at a high level.
- Proficient in reporting tools and software, including Power BI and Microsoft Excel (high-level proficiency is a must).
- Proficiency in Salesforce.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Experience with project management tools and calendar management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Google Workspace Suite).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a marketing, branding, or consumer goods industry.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
- Knowledge of data visualization techniques and tools.
