Earthbar’s original beginning was in 1971, when registered pharmacists Bernie Bubman and Earl Mindell joined forces to create Great Earth Vitamins, with the premise that proper supplementation can improve your quality of life, give you the energy you need to live happily and healthfully. Great Earth opened its’ first location in Los Angeles on Pico Blvd, and became an early leader in the supplement industry. Great Earth Vitamins was known primarily for its’ quality pharmaceutical grade products and own in-house training program, which offered week-long courses for over 10,000 employees over the years. Great Earth went on to open over 200 locations which spanned worldwide.
Keeping true to its origins of quality, science-based and tested products, Earthbar emerged onto the scene in 2007 in West Hollywood California on a mission to enliven the vitality of the Los Angeles community by adding a new component of a ‘food as medicine’ juice bar, along with a full line up of highest quality products and supplements.
In 2009, Earthbar’s mission grabbed the attention of Equinox Fitness, and a partnership was formed bringing Earthbar into most of the Southern California Equinox Fitness facilities. Providing healthy, clean, delicious fuel to fitness lovers, celebrities, business people, and families, Earthbar continues to hear requests for new locations and is keeping up with the demand at a steady pace.
Always looking to improve with the most innovative and cutting edge health enhancing practices, in January 2013, Earthbar unveiled the Earthbar Vibrance Clinic in its’ flagship West Hollywood location. Earthbar Vibrance offers nutrient I.V. drips and injections administered by health care professionals, as well as comprehensive testing for food sensitivities and DNA tests which measures your telomeres to determine your rate of aging.
