We are seeking a highly motivated, successful, results-driven Director of Sales to lead and implement sales strategies & initiatives which elevate the retail presence of DrTung’s brand and drive profitable revenue growth in selected natural, specialty, grocery, emerging wellness and other distribution channels (excluding Amazon & international sales).

Overview of Role:
Sales Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with our company objectives & strategies.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities for distribution expansion, channel diversification & revenue growth.
- Develop and manage sales targets, forecasts, performance metrics & budgets.
- Analyze, assess & advise on market trends, customer opportunities, and competitive dynamics.
- Build and lead a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, collaboration & action.
Retail & Key Account Management
- Develop, manage & own strategic relationships with major retail & distributor partners.
- Lead annual business planning, promotional strategy, and joint business development with key customers.
- Negotiate pricing, trade programs, promotional calendars, and retailer agreements.
- Analyze & leverage sales & syndicated data to identify opportunities and support strategic actions across assortment, price and promotions.
- Drive distribution gains, shelf placement, merchandising initiatives, and category growth opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings.
Sales Team Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead, manage & optimize our sales team and broker networks.
- Partner closely with Marketing to develop retailer-specific programs, promotional strategies, and product launches.
- Collaborate with Product Development on innovation pipelines and market opportunities.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure inventory alignment and demand planning accuracy.
- Work with Finance to ensure profitable growth and effective trade-spend management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree - or equivalent qualification - in Business, Marketing or Sales Management.
- 8+ years of progressive sales leadership & management experience with building premium, clean Health & Beauty brands in natural, mass, specialty retail, supermarkets, military & select ecommerce accounts (excluding Amazon & international sales).
- Experience managing both brick-and-mortar and omnichannel growth strategies.
- Strong organizational and analytical capabilities, as well as strong experience with sales forecasting, annual planning, and trade management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building and presentation skills.
- Strong integrity and business ethics; and a consultative and collaborative leader & team player.
- Highly experienced in assessing and utilizing retail analytics from distributor, retailer & syndicated data portals.
- Advanced proficiency in Salesforce (or equivalent), Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.

Compensation range: Annual package $120k to $150k plus
