As the company enters its next phase of growth, we are seeking a relationship-driven, strategic sales leader to help expand our national footprint and strengthen our presence across retail, distributor, and wellness channels.
Position Overview
The Director of National Sales will lead national growth initiatives for Buried Treasure across natural, specialty, grocery, e-commerce, and emerging wellness channels. This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial sales professional who thrives on relationship building, field leadership, strategic expansion, and creating long-term partnerships. This is a highly visible leadership position responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding retail presence, managing broker and field sales partnerships, and identifying new opportunities to elevate the Buried Treasure brand nationwide.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and has a strong understanding of the natural products, wellness, supplement, or CPG landscape. Key Responsibilities:
National Growth Leadership

Develop and execute national sales and growth strategies aligned with company objectives

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across retail, distributor, and wellness channels

Expand Buried Treasure’s presence within natural products, specialty retail, grocery, and e-commerce markets

Drive sustainable revenue growth while supporting brand positioning and profitability goals
Broker & Field Sales Leadership

Recruit, manage, and support broker and field sales partners nationwide

Establish clear KPIs, sales objectives, and accountability measures

Lead ongoing sales training, communication, and performance development initiatives

Build a culture of partnership, responsiveness, and execution excellence
Retail Partnership Development

Spend significant time in-market supporting retail relationships and sales initiatives

Partner directly with stores, distributors, and sales teams to identify opportunities and improve performance

Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings

Strengthen relationships with key accounts and strategic partners nationwide
Strategic Collaboration

Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and product development teams

Support product launches, promotional initiatives, and go-to-market strategies

Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and sales performance to uncover growth opportunities

Contribute strategic insights that support innovation and long-term expansion
Operational & Budget Oversight

Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and sales planning initiatives

Maintain organized reporting and communicate progress regularly with executive leadership Support profitable growth while managing travel and sales-related expenditures responsibly
Qualifications
-
5+ years of leadership experience in dietary supplements, natural products, wellness, functional beverages, or consumer packaged goods (CPG)

Proven success growing national accounts, distributor partnerships, and retail relationships

Experience working with natural product retailers and distributor networks preferred

Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills

Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically

Experience managing brokers, independent sales representatives, or field sales teams

Ability to travel nationally on a regular basis

Strong organizational and analytical capabilities

Bachelor’s degree preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered

Familiarity with liquid supplements, functional nutrition, or wellness beverages
