THE ROLE
Indigo Wild is looking for a proactive and strategic Sr. Manager, Supply Planning & Procurement to lead and execute supply chain planning and purchasing for our full line of natural home and body care products. This hybrid role combines ownership of supply planning and procurement, ensuring raw material availability, optimal inventory levels, and uninterrupted production.  You will manage all purchasing operations, work closely with our production, logistics and commercial teams, and play a critical role in Zum’s ability to meet customer demand while staying true to our commitment to natural, high-quality ingredients at the lowest possible cost.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Supply Planning

  • Develop and maintain end-to-end supply plans across all product categories based on demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory targets
  • Lead development of production schedules to meet service levels and inventory goals
  • Manage SKU-level inventory strategies to avoid stockouts and reduce excess or obsolete inventory
  • Build out and lead the S&OP process, ensuring tight coordination across Sales, Marketing, and Operations
  • Support new product introductions, promotional runs, and seasonal offerings through integrated supply and procurement planning

Procurement

  • Own the procurement of raw materials, packaging, and components that deliver on Zum brand standards, while ensuring uninterrupted production at the lowest possible cost
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships; monitor vendor performance, lead times, and cost changes
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and MOQs to support cost-effective purchasing strategies
  • Ensure supplier compliance with Zum’s quality standards and values
  • Forecast purchasing needs based on supply plans and production schedules; manage POs, receipts, and inventory reconciliation

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Directly manage and develop one Supply Planning Manager
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, R&D, Sales, and Finance to support business needs
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement across planning and procurement functions
  • Generate reports and dashboards for leadership to provide visibility into supply chain health, risks, and KPIs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of supply planning and/or procurement experience in a CPG manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Expert-level excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) to build functional supply planning tools
  • Skilled in vendor negotiations and supplier management
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High intellectual curiosity and passion for continuous learning
  • Results-oriented with a high sense of personal accountability and urgency
  • Excellent customer focus and service mentality
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Outstanding Teammate – builds commitment and creates a fun, high-performance environment in leading teams without direct authority
