We are hiring a Territory Sales Manager to generate new business, grow sales and provide sales support to south Atlanta, GA retailers and business owners.

As the Sales Territory Manager you will be responsible for selling the company’s products; primary responsibility may include finding, generating and developing new distribution/retail partners in order to sell the company’s products to end-users. Responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within the distribution or retail sales channel. Creates awareness and demand for company products.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain a call cycle that best supports the territory profitability
  • Manage regional key accounts headquartered within territory
  • Sell-in of top 20 products and innovation items, including filling distribution voids in existing accounts
  • Support turns at the store level with regular visits and staff trainings
  • Provide outstanding customer service and support to their retailers and store staff
  • Manage promotional planning and execution
  • Provide excellent communication and follow-up with the sales management team
  • Utilize company-provided sales tools such as sales reporting and SPINS data to develop strategic sales plan within territory
  • Participate in national sales calls, team meetings, and trade shows
  • Provide essential intel from the field, such as: consumer trends, competitor information

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years related experience in the natural products industry. Regional Key Account management experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, critical/ strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), and Outlook email and calendar capabilities.
  • Must be highly ethical, have strong integrity, and use value-based decision making.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with other departments, leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
  • Self-confident, self-motivated, collaborative professional who thrives in a challenging, fast- paced environment.
  • Servant leader who puts the interests of the broader team and the organization’s goals ahead of their own personal agenda.
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 50% required
