As we grow our operations in the USA, we are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Associate to support our finance and operations team.
Location: East Coast (Miami office available; remote possible)
Position Overview
We are looking for a half time hands-on Accounting Associate to handle day-to-day and monthly accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, analytical, and proficient with accounting software. Experience in a consumer goods, wellness, or dietary supplement company is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Tasks
- Record all transactions including accounts payable, expenses, and other financial activities in accounting software
- Maintain accurate general ledger and journal entries
- Reconcile bank statements and enter incoming payments daily
- Conduct account receivable follow-ups and share regular updates to the sales team
Monthly / Periodic Tasks
- Prepare documentation for month-end closing activities
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports including profit & loss and balance sheet
- Support internal and external audit preparations with relevant documentation and data
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software, Dynamics 365 Business Central and Excel
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
