Job Description: 

Xlear® is the leading manufacturer of xylitol-based products in the USA.

We provide simple and cost-effective products that support preventative health. We are committed to providing natural, health-enhancing products based on the safety, effectiveness, and science of xylitol.

We are celebrating our 25th anniversary next year and have experienced great success in offering people “better for you” products under the Xlear and Spry brands.

We are seeking a candidate for our Remote – Inside Sales role focusing on the independent health food retailers.

NOTE:  We are currently unable to accept resumes from candidates based in California.

This person must be focused, disciplined, motivated and capable of setting and maintaining a daily workflow.  The expectation is a minimum of 25 calls a day to our independent health food retailers nationwide, discussing promotions, item voids, new items, sample needs, etc.  You will also be expected to keep a daily call log.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities: 

  • Your day will be spent in your home office contacting and communicating with independent health food retailers.
  • Complete daily call reports
  • Provide knowledge and guidance on our brands.
  • Available to conduct store audits and demos when needed
  • Possibly attend trade shows.

Knowledge / Skills / Requirements:

  • This is a full-time role.  The ideal candidate will have no restrictions.
  • Experience working within the natural sales channel.
  • Knowledge of independent health food retailers is a huge plus.
  • Experience working with distributors such as UNFI, Threshold and Palko
  • Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Motivated, passionate and goal oriented
  • Good communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate good organizational skills.
  • Knowledge navigating SPINS and Tableau
  • Positive attitude.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and have a reliable form of transportation.
  • Knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft, Excel, Power Point, and Word.
