JOB FILLED - Senior Account Executive

Job Description: 

The Senior Account Executive will lead efforts to fill Dirty Hands’ portfolio of represented natural food and beverage brands through prospecting, networking, and leveraging relationships with C-Suite CPG Sales and Marketing Leaders. The candidate hired for this role will be responsible for selling Dirty Hands’ suite of services including Brokerage and Merchandising programs to brands. This position is a critical role for driving top-line sales revenue for the organization. The candidate hired for this role will work directly with the Director of Partnerships to develop and execute a yearly sales plan and is accountable for ensuring balanced portfolios with the right mix of large national brands, multi-region brands, and emerging brands.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a solid background in the Natural Food and Beverage industry, a strong record of selling and closing $5M+ in annual sales, and an understanding of the unique roadmap to growth for both large and emerging brands.

The Role:
Sales & Relationships:

  • Own the full sales cycle from lead through close by initiating, evaluation, negotiating, and closing new business opportunities while building a pipeline of leads throughout the sales cycle.
  • Generate leads through proactive outreach, cold calls, and networking with prospective customers.
  • Establish lasting partnerships with senior executives (VP/SVP/C-Suite) and key decision-makers through targeted outbound efforts while acting as a thought leader and trusted advisor.

Planning & Strategy:

  • Create detailed business plans in collaboration with the Director of Partnerships to set and achieve goals and quotas.
  • Be an expert in the Natural Food and Beverage industry and use this expertise to identify opportunities based on market trends.
  • Analyze client needs and develop innovative solutions.
  • Maintain sales budget and expenses through planning, cost and expense control.

Onboarding & Support:

  • Execute and maintain standardized onboarding procedures to drive a positive and seamless client onboarding experience.
  • Continually gather feedback from partners to ensure that our product lines and features are meeting, and exceeding client’s needs.

Metrics & Reporting:

  • Identify and report on key selling metrics in order to monitor effectiveness of sales strategies.
  • Utilize CRM (Pipedrive) and automation tools to track progress and report on goals.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 5+ years sales experience.
  • 5+ years of sales acquisition experience in the natural, organic, better-for-you brands in the CPG industry.
  • An understanding of the retail sales environment.
  • A proven sales hunter and closer with a strong track record of selling and closing $5M+ in annual sales.
  • Pipedrive or Salesforce experience is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to connect and build relationships with all levels of an organization including C-suite level executives.
  • An understanding of the unique roadmap to growth for emerging brands.
  • Collaborative business partner adept in building cross-functional relationships to drive business results.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills.
  • This position may require travel of up to 15%.

This position has an annual starting base salary of $100,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus. Higher salary available based on experience. 

This position is fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States.
