You’ll use your dynamic sales skills to represent an established, yet growing force in consumer-packaged goods within the natural supplements industry to oversee account management within independent markets and small chains across assigned territory.
Using your 2+ years of sales experience, you’ll elevate independent retailer partnerships providing exceptional customer service while driving revenue.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for implementing sales strategies, achieving set goals and meeting budgets.
- Maintains & manages consistent call cycle by planning & organizing daily work schedule.
- Creates & presents effective proposals that identifies the customers’ business needs & offer solutions through consultative selling.
- Effectively & consistently, analyzes and uses data reports to identify opportunities with new and existing accounts to expand assortment, introduce new items or cross-merchandise.
- Supports category performance through effective promotional execution and merchandising.
- Provides regular territory analysis of performance and sales to Regional Sales Manager, seeking improvement on sales techniques and processes to drive results.
- Provides extensive customer contact via store visits, scheduled monthly phone calls and email blasts and demo coordination.
- Prospects and develops new business through; referrals, cold calling, social media, territory market research and new leads.
- Gathers competitive marketplace information on pricing, product development, promotional opportunities, merchandising and marketing support initiatives.
- Participation in retailer promotional and industry events to cultivate customer relationships.
- Maintains professional & technical knowledge by participating in educational webinars, reviewing professional publications and corporate trainings.

- Bachelor’s Degree; Business or related field
- Minimum 2 years outside sales experience; nutritional supplements or similar packaged goods
- Ability and desire to travel 50% - 75% throughout assigned territory
- Computer proficiency; MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Superior communication skills to articulate product attributes and partnership programs
- Creative and innovative thinker with the ability to overcome objections and identify sales opportunities
