Job Description: 

BIOHM Health Inc. is seeking a Director of Logistics & Supply Chain to direct logistics, distribution, movement and storage of its dietary supplement products into major retailers and other channels. The right person for this role is a critical thinker with sound judgement, proactive communication and works to solve problems with minimal oversight.

The Director of Logistics & Supply Chain will play a key role in the management of all supplier relationships and customer-facing processes, which will include the following:

Logistics & Fulfillment Management:

  • Must have experience with EDI-led and GMP-compliant supply chains.
  • At least 4 years’ experience in dietary supplement storage and distribution in major retail and distribution customers such as Walmart, KeHE, Costco, Walgreens etc.,
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting retailer demands on time and in full with a growing brand.
  • Strategically plan and manage inventory, warehouses, and transportation to retail and other customers.
  • Coordinate shipments between suppliers, manufacturers, third party fulfillment centers, and customers.
  • Direct, optimize and coordinate full shipping cycle of inventory.
  • Ensure stock levels are in alignment with company’s needs and forecast, and keep track of quality, quantity, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
  • Manage, monitor, and assist fulfillment of orders across multiple locations to ensure customers receive orders in a timely manner, including 3PL fulfillment warehouse and customers.
  • Assist in resolving any fulfillment and order issues or complaints with missed shipments or pick-ups in a timely manner.
  • Process shipments and build delivery routes.
  • Monitor performance and cost of order fulfillment.
  • Works directly with 3PL to manage inventory, SKUs, carriers, pick and pack instructions and SOPs,
  • Perform on-site visits and audits of warehouse inventory locations as needed.
  • Familiarity with D2C and Amazon supply-chain software and fulfillment ideal but not required.
  • Manage disposition of return orders, works with customer service and e-commerce to resolve issues with returned orders.

Supply Chain & Inventory Management:

  • Place orders and manage shipping of BIOHM Inventory across multiple locations: 3PL Fulfillment Warehouse(s), Amazon, BIOHM office, medium term storage warehouses and business partners.
  • Work with accounting to count and perform inventory reconciliations for month end and year end close.
  • Work with operations and finance team to create weekly inventory projection reports.
  • Physically transports boxes up to 50 lbs. as needed between multiple locations and carriers.
  • Work with multiple vendors and places orders for BIOHM product including but not limited to, physical BIOHM product, bottles, lids, labels, boxes and dunnage, gut testing kit supplies, and partner projects; and
  • Schedule and manage freight and shipping of BIOHM Inventory between multiple locations and partners.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain a plus
  • 6+ years of purchasing/supply chain management
  • ASCM certification a plus
  • Subject matter expert for the transportation and logistics industry including, but not limited to incoterms, DDP, HTS Codes, freight classification codes, and import/export documentation, FDA, OSHA
  • Strong Excel ability required (pivot tables, lookups, index/match, nested if-then statements)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Core strengths in supply chain management, logistics management, inventory control knowledge, customer service management, organization, project management, and technology
  • A self-motivator with a commitment to achieve excellence
  • A diverse background in people development in logistics and customer service
  • Oversees and coordinates monthly /quarterly /annual physical inventory cycle counts and coordination between supply chain and finance at contract manufacturers, warehouses and 3PLs,
  • Performs other duties, in order to meet job objectives, as assigned
