Overview
Advanced Natural Group (ANG), a leading natural food brokerage and consulting agency, is seeking a highly organized and motivated Sales Assistant to support our Regional Sales Manager in the Bay Area.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working on events, and is eager to gain hands-on experience in sales and brand development within the natural foods industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Support: Assist with organization, setup, and execution of vendor fairs, trade shows, and industry events.
- Sales Support: Deliver product samples to clients, retailers, and partners as needed. Paperwork assistance will also be needed.
- Administrative Assistance: Provide general support to the Regional Sales Manager, including scheduling, preparing sales materials, and handling follow-up tasks.
- Logistics & Coordination: Help manage event logistics, coordinate product shipments, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Customer Engagement: Support brand presence by assisting at events and ensuring professional representation of ANG and our supplier partners.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail (a must).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage fluctuating weekly schedules.
- Reliable transportation for event setup and sample deliveries.
- Prior experience in sales support, event coordination, or customer service is a plus.
- Passion for the natural foods industry preferred.
Schedule & Compensation
- Average of 20 hours per week; schedule may vary depending on events and business needs.
- Compensation: $25 per hour, plus mileage and business expenses reimbursed.
Location
This position is based in the Bay Area, CA with local travel required for events and sample deliveries.
