We are seeking a Vice President, Sprouts for our Phoenix, AZ location.

Description:

Impact Natural is seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and entrepreneurial leader to drive transformative change, thereby unleashing the full potential of the Sprouts channel.
Reporting to the SVP, the Vice President (“VP”), Sprouts will hold full responsibility for the strategy, execution, and performance of the Sprouts business, optimizing the business in sales, operations, processes, financial results, and talent management. The VP will have experience in building teams, developing relationships and influence with clients and retailers as well as in strategy development.

The successful candidate will also play a critical role on the Acosta Group’s leadership team, serving as the primary architect of the Sprouts business’ mission and vision.
The VP will hold dual responsibilities, strategically interfacing with both client and retail partners. They will deliver exceptional client results, obtaining sales targets and developing long-term, strategic customer relationships. This pivotal role will elevate Acosta Group’s Sprouts business to a new level of growth and profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains trusted and influential relationships with Sprouts.
  • Develops strategic framework to accomplish growth targets for both current and prospective business, with a focus on expanding new business development goals.
  • Develops a high-performing team and culture that prioritizes growth enabled by creativity, thought leadership, and collaboration. Takes charge in developing, evaluating, and inspiring team performance, while also contributing to the allocation of workloads, responsibilities, and projects, and initiating corrective action when required.
  • Owns P&L by delivering topline and profit measures and closely monitoring sales, expenses, competition, and budget performance. Controls and manages Expense/Office/Travel budget-based company policy.
  • Utilizes system reports, customer feedback and communication to monitor the performance of all Directors and Business Managers;
  • Assists in formulating and enforcing policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Proactively identifies potential issues and implements timely corrective actions.
  • Collaborates with clients to establish joint business plans that facilitate sustainable long-term growth.
  • Translates national sales programs into action plans to effectively execute sales strategies.
  • Provides expertise on channel dynamics and requirements, providing valuable insights to secure success in both present and future endeavors.
  • Maintains an up-to-date understanding of product, vendor, category, and industry knowledge and developments to ensure informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of work experience in the CPG industry, including 2+ years as a director or above with Sprouts experience.
  • 3+ years of direct selling experience calling on buyers.
  • Proven excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proven consistent follow-through and organizational skills.
  • Proven project management experience a must.
  • Proven track record of generating incremental sales.
  • Proven experience managing a P&L.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

  • Ability to work with the sales administration teams function and operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible.
  • Capability to create an environment that fosters creativity, accountability, and growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain top-level strategic relationships.
  • Ability to provide insight to all vendors regarding Sprouts and sales generation.
  • Ability to ensure timely resolution of issues and challenges by leveraging extended enterprise and expertise across Acosta and Sprout’s functional / capability areas.
  • Experience in creating opportunities for vendors and generating demand for their products.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of Sprout’s operation and key competitors.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of each vendor’s operation, capabilities, capacities, products, logistics, business strategies, and key competitors.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
