Quality Assurance / Regulatory Affairs Specialist
Job Description
Dr. Mercola Premium Products (shop.mercola.com) is an on-line / natural product retail store distributor of natural health products ranging from dietary supplements and natural and organic foods to organic personal care to health related products for the home, fitness, pets, garden and beyond.
We are looking for a specialist to be responsible for regulatory affairs and quality assurance covering all our products, with particular emphasis on dietary supplements. The candidate will be involved in / responsible for:
· Product document review and approval
· Supplement facts, nutrition facts, ingredient list creation for labels
· Label review and approval
· FDA compliance documentation
· SOPs
· AERs and SAERs
· Certifications – GMP, organic, etc
· Other compliance documents
Qualifications:
· B.S. or equivalent in science – chemistry preferred, or suitable regulatory experience
· Strong math skills
· Detail oriented
· Familiarity and experience with the dietary supplement and food GMPs and regulations
· Team oriented
· Passion and interest in natural health
