Job Description - NY Sales Representative/Merchandiser
Title: NY Watergirl/Boy (Corporate Speak: NY Sales Representative/ Merchandiser)
Reports to: North American Waterboy (Corporate Speak: USA Sales Manager)
Based: Home Office – must be located in the Tri State Area
Territory: Eastern USA Seaboard with a primary focus on NYC metro Area
Travel: 80% within territory as required, one day a week minimum in NYC with DSD partner.
Position Purpose & Description.
To help facilitate in-store sales and marketing activities of Western Addition Ltd’s products through an established Food Broker and Natural Products Distributor / DSD Sales delivery system. Position
will seek to maximize profitable sales volume on Western Addition LTD’s products by achieving
maximum focus on our brands within the portfolios of these larger organizations, in accordance
with brand strategies that will be set by the Western Addition Management team.
The scope of the role for the Western Addition Ltd, New York Sales Representative/Merchandiser will be adaptable and variable and will include but will not be limited to the following roles and responsibilities.
· Motivating our regional distributor partners as well as retail partners at a store level to produce and maximize profitable sales, and product placements
· Work with brokers and to a lesser extent distributors to a sales goal / quota on a monthly basis.
· Work with US Sales Manager, attend some regional chain headquarter sales calls and assist brokers in presentation of Western Addition Ltd products at regional level to independent and 2-4 store chain accounts.
· Be the brand expert for 1907 New Zealand Water
· Create passion behind the New Zealand Selling Story of 1907
· Attend Trade and Consumer shows to represent the brands possibly outside of the given territory.
· Weekly ride alongs/work with our broker’s in-store in the New York Tri-state area.
Requirements: 4 Year College Degree, computer literacy with MS Office programs, Apple preferred.
Previous Beverage experience preferred.
