We are looking for growth-oriented, forward thinkers with an entrepreneurial mindset looking to challenge the everyday conventions to join our talented sales team. www.primiziesnacks.com The Merchandiser/Sales Associate will lead all merchandising activities for designated sales route comprised of chain and independent retail stores. He/she will be responsible for building rapport and effective relationships with store personnel (store manager, deli manager, grocery manager) to ensure flawless execution of growth initiatives. Proactive communication of market and store conditions to include timely completion of weekly recaps and trackers. Position reports directly to Area Development Manager. Key Responsibilities Distribution – ensure all authorized products are in distribution across assigned stores. Sell for void placements as needed. Merchandise and rotate product. Ensure ample backroom inventory to minimize out-of-stocks. Shelf Management – execute gold standard planograms within designated permanent location (i.e., deli). Sell for permanent display locations leveraging approved merchandising vehicles. Merchandising – sell for incremental display locations to support Feature Ads and/or price reductions. Schedule and execute demos and/or passive sampling events to drive trial and awareness. Pricing – ensure all merchandising locations are properly tagged with SRP or promoted price points. Communicate any price discrepancies and competitive activity to HQ. Skills & Requirements 1-2 yrs related business experience Skilled in verbal & written communication Ability to work autonomously; effective time and project management skills Valid driver’s license and access to reliable automobile Salary: $15.00 /hour - 20 per week Required experience: Merchandising or Sales experience: 1 year
