Green Spoon Sales is looking for a positive, passionate, and detail-oriented Associate Key Account Manager to support our Albertson’s Sales Team. The preferred location is in the greater Chicago or greater Los Angeles area.
Requirements

Contribute to developing and strengthening relationships with Albertson’s category
management/purchasing teams, distributor partners, and promotional teams -
Manage our principals’ current Albertson’s business through tracking sales, growing
velocities, closing voids, and securing key promotional opportunities. -
Provide suppliers with sound guidance and strategies to help their products be
successful, including promotional recommendations. -
Work closely with our Albertson’s Key Account Executives to continuously improve
internal organization and communication to drive productivity. - Ensure that our brands approved promotional plans are logged onto master calendars
- Provide category review support by assisting with new item paperwork (spec sheets, presentations, etc), category review announcements, CRM database maintenance.
- Maintain internal SharePoint, CRM and all trackers.
- Maintain APLs, store lists and any other retailer specific details.
- Other duties as directed by the National Account Executives in support of our supplier partners.
- Assistance in managing sales tracking, data and analysis.
- Provide team with sound guidance around New Item launches and monthly promotional activity.
- Be proactive in supporting new store openings, retailer or distributor tabletops, and any other events or opportunities for our brands.
- Develop positive and trusting relationships with all principal clients.
- Collect and distribute regional news and updates, both internal and external.
- Collaborate with Green Spoon leadership team to generate ideas for growing our principal’s business and make suggestions for improvement.
Measurable Objectives
- Develop strong relationship with National Account Executives and Promotions Manager
- Work with the National Account Executives to help set up new items and support new brand launches
- Prepare and submit New Items Forms, One-Pagers, and any other ad hoc paperwork as requested on a consistent basis and by deadline.
- Ensure that brand’s promotional calendars reflect the approved promotional allowances for the current product assortment at a retailer.
- Compile upcoming promotional plans and communicate them to our distributor partners
- Manage and oversee category review calendars that pertain to our principals and your account responsibilities.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, adaptable, and nimble.
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and stay on top of multiple deadlines
- Great written and in-person communication skills
- Intermediate level experience using Microsoft products with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
- SPINS and other 3rd party analytic familiarity is a plus!
- Excellent time management skills
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of relevant natural foods or conventional grocery experience.
- Key Account management experience preferred.
- Organic and natural experience preferred.
- Microsoft Office and Teams experience
