The primary responsibility of this position is managing key accounts in the supermarket channel driving sales and distribution of natural and organic food products.
Desired Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, self-driven, and organized professional with strong negotiating and closing skills. They can multi-task and have excellent time management skills. The candidate must be familiar with the Natural Products Industry and have 3+ years of sales experience - preferably with supermarket & Natural Chains in the North Eastern part of the US. Position Summary/Responsibilities:
- Establishes and maintains working relationships with appropriate category managers at multiple retailers in the region.

Creates and executes on promotional and sales strategies.
- Offers consistent and persistent presentation of new items and line extensions.
- Blends vendor's advertising budget with retailer's marketing venues to generate increased sales and distribution.
- Develops sales plan for all retailers, increasing sales by achieving and exceeding goals.
- Communicates with retailers and sales team in a professional and timely manner:
- Is willing and able to resolve problems with a positive attitude.
Must have:
- Extensive knowledge of major chains in the NE.
- At least 3 years in a sales position in the Natural Products Industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Must live in the territory and be willing to travel as needed.
- Broker or distributor sales experience is a plus.
Job Summary:
