Summary of Job Duties:
The Sales Director will provide strong leadership and team-building skills to oversee our sales organization. This role will include overseeing our inside Bricks & Mortar Inside sales team, Key Account and Field Sales team, external Sales Broker, Sales Administration and Customer support teams. The Sales Director will lead our sales team with focus on driving profitable growth for both our manufactured brands as well as our Vendor Brand customers, while delivering best in class customer service. Additionally responsible for building sales competencies and professionalism in support of development of a best in class sales team. This position will work collaboratively with all other company functions to enable aligned business and go to market strategies that will deliver on our business goals.
Specific Job Duties:
Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the full sales team using innovative sales principles, techniques and leadership skills.
2. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales across all channels for both distributed brands and the company’s proprietary brands.
3. Collaborate with other departments and management personnel in order to increase communications that lead to overall company growth and success.
4. Leverage relationships with key accounts in order to gain market share and brand positioning.
5. Inspire, motivate and lead results-driven teams within the sales organization, including Customer Service and Sales Support.
6. Manage, recruit and direct the daily operations of the customer service/credit processing team
7. Plan, prioritize and delegate work tasks to ensure proper functioning of the department
8. Identify and implement strategies to improve quality of service, productivity and profitability
9. Set aggressive, but reasonable customer satisfaction goals and work with the team to meet them on a consistent basis.
10. Interact with customers via online and in person visits. Responding to their questions and guiding them to the appropriate service to foster positive client relationships.
11. Take ownership of customer’s issues and following reported concerns through to resolution.
12. Perform all other duties as assigned by Threshold management.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Requirements for this position include:

1. Demonstrated history of career growth and assumption of increased responsibilities.
2. Five to seven years top level sales management experience in the natural products industry
3. Degree in business or related field.
4. Proven negotiation, leadership and sales skills.
5. Ability to think strategically, build effective sales plans and drive execution.
6. Superior presentation skills.
7. Ability to communicate effectively with both verbal and written skill.
8. Ability to assess business issues through fact based decision process, determine key factors and develop appropriate action plans that will drive business growth and profitability.
Skills and/or Training Desired:
1. Experience working in the dietary supplement industry with direct knowledge of our manufactured brands
2. Familiar with DSHEA and FDA regulations.
3. Current with relevant technology trends and applications
