POSITION SUMMARY:

The Specialty Sales Manager reports to the Director of Sales, Distribution Channel and partners closely with the sales team to drive EO's strategic sales initiatives and meet revenue goals. S/he supports the development of sales growth plans and profitability goals, performs retailer analysis, and recommends best practices to continually improve sales performance. This position helps to create alignment by effectively engaging broker teams in planning and focusing organizational resources on top priorities.
The Specialty Sales Manager is also responsible for the development and performance of sales initiatives in the specialty and alternative channels of business. S/he oversees broker teams and provides leadership to achieve assigned quarterly sales goals while maintaining company margin requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Export Sales Management
- Canada
- Manage our network of Canadian brokers to achieve and exceed sales goals
- Work closely with brokers, category managers and buyers to expand the Canadian market into new accounts
- Grow sales at existing accounts with current bilingual product mix
- Hands-on management of the Loblaw business
- Create promotional calendars for key accounts as well as the Canadian market as a whole
- Help manage the distributor relationships with the Sales Operations team
- Provide sales tools, guidance and strategic initiatives for the broker team
- All Other Export
- Manage current export accounts
- Seek, vet and help onboard new export accounts
Alternative Channel:
- Travel, Military, Food Service, Hardware, Specialty Retail
- Manage current alternative channel accounts - product mix, promo calendars, merchandising strategies, rebate agreements, etc.
- Actively seek opportunities for growth – new accounts, line extensions, etc.
- Create and present proposals for new accounts/placements
- Work closely with distributors, brokers and decision makers to maintain successful relationships
- Analyze and optimize spend rates on a quarterly and yearly basis
B2B/Amenity Channel:
- Manage our network of B2B/Amenity accounts and distributors
- Actively seek new business opportunities for channel growth
- Develop and execute promotional calendar
- Work with Brand Studio to create monthly communication for existing accounts
- Prepare and distribute weekly reporting of B2B revenue and service metrics; measure progress to monthly B2B revenue goal
Other:
- Actively participates in internal sales meetings and collaborates with all members of the Sales department
- Yearly forecasting with quarterly updates for distributors and key accounts
- Continuously monitor key account success and profitability and look for opportunities for improvement
- Analyze promo ROI and make adjustments to future promotions as needed
- Chargeback authorizations and dispute deductions when needed
- Work with other internal departments as needed to ensure all sales processes are running smoothly
- Maintain organized retailer files utilizing G-Drive
- Travel as necessary for buyer meetings, category reviews, trade shows, sales meetings, market tours, new broker trainings, etc. – must book your own travel/accommodations and submit expense reports
- Provide essential feedback from the field to necessary internal departments
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Self-starter, analytical and organized
- Detail oriented with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact with people at all levels
- Proficient in G-Suite, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience with NetSuite preferred
- Represent EO Products with integrity and positivity
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BA/BS Degree in Sales & Marketing (or closely related field) preferred with sales experience
- 3+ years experience in working with CPG brands, preferably body care
- Experience in any of the aforementioned channels highly preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the ability to work on office equipment including a computer for a prolonged period of time.
GENERAL WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a home office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. This position also requires travel and the ability to navigate airports and transportation options to meet with customers and vendors.
