Are you passionate about small businesses, and motivated to contribute to the health and wellness of the world?

Do you have 5 or more years of experience managing a sales force and at least 2 years in the natural products industry?

Siddha Remedies is expanding our product range from homeopathic remedies to food and supplements! We need an ambitious Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team to help implement new sales and marketing strategies. As the Sales and Marketing Manager you will manage and executive sales strategies to build our customer base and keep a close eye on our marketing efforts. This position is based out of our office and manufacturing HQ in Oxnard, CA.  While you do not need to be at HQ everyday, two to three days a week is ideal.  If this right person is remote we may consider.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Further develop, implement and oversee brick and mortar and ecommerce sales plans.
  • Work within budget guidelines to build sales and meet profitability goals.
  • Direct and oversee a network of independent sales reps/brokers.
  • Work closely with the entire KeHE Team as we are part of their Elevate Program through 2022.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with key customers and national retailers and etailers.
  • Ensure our brick and mortar sales pipeline is front loaded and efficient.  This includes supervising our inside sales team as you and the team call on new accounts, distribute marketing material/samples, open new accounts and most importantly service them via promos, demos, and product trainings.
  • Develop sales strategies and new-item initiatives for accounts.
  • Develop account specific promotional plans and programs; track performance, spending and adjust as necessary to maximize ROI.
  • Identify and pursue new retailers and trade channels to meet the strategic goals set annually.
  • Help develop and supervise marketing initiatives. Project manage our retailer and distributor sales and marketing opportunities.
  • Manage and monitor our sales and marketing metrics, review weekly and monthly sales projections and reconcile them; create routine sales reports.
  • Assess retail requirements and inform Marketing, Finance and R&D of unique product requirements, certifications to effectively compete.
  • Participate in tradeshows to promote the Siddha Remedies brand and develop profitable sales proposals for potential customers.
  • Motivate and energize the sales network.

Requirements:

  • 5-years of sales management experience.
  • At least 2 years working in natural product industry.
  • Familiar with CPG sales with the Natural Product industry, added plus if familiar with homeopathic products.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CPG.
  • Experience working for a start-up or small company, a plus.
  • Passion for healing with homeopathic remedies.
  • Travel?
