JOB FILLED - Account Manager - Remote or On Site

Job Description: 

The Account Manager is responsible for overseeing all business activities for specified key accounts in this class of trade. The Account Manager coordinates sales distribution by setting and determining business objectives, pioneering and cultivating retail venues that align with Nordic Naturals’ business models, establish promotional programs and sales goals and provide overall general management for accounts.

In this role you will:

  • Manage and oversee specified key accounts for the FDM & Specialty Accounts
  • Maintain and organize all category review periods for FDM & Specialty accounts and drive business forward accordingly
  • Responsible for assisting with contract negotiations and business planning
  • Identify, approach and cultivate potential new strategic partners in the FDM & Specialty Channel
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports and sales forecasts
  • Propose and coordinate new product roll outs and gap opportunities for FDM & Specialty Accounts as well as manage approvals and placements with all associated accounts in the channel
  • Suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet account needs
  • Achieve and surpass assigned sales and performance objectives 
  • Monitor sales performance metrics
  • Create and oversee conventional channel growth and business plans and revise and reassess as necessary
  • Assist Sales Managers managing and overseeing yearly promotional budgets, sales goals and other applicable reports necessary for growing and maintaining the business
  • Identify, develop and coordinate retail promotional opportunities in conjunction with budget and company policies
  • Assess marketing potential of new and existing store locations, considering statistics and expenditures
  • Act as the liaison between key customers and internal teams
  • Advise accounts on policies and procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business
  • Help Oversee FDM & Specialty broker network and recruit new brokers when necessary
  • Represent company at trade association meetings and other key account venues to promote products 
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service 
  • Other duties as assigned



Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Business Administration or other equivalent degree
  • 5-7 years of account management experience; CPG experience preferred

     

Computer Skills:

  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite
