JOB FILLED - Sales Representative

Job Description: 

We are looking for a Sales Representative to represent our organization to potential customers. Your role will be to develop new business opportunities with potential customers through emails, phone calls, face to face meetings as well as generating new accounts. You will be responsible for selling food ingredients by developing strong relationships with buyers and key personnel.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing and managing corporate customers. You will use your sales skills to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with procurement personnel, from first contact until you receive a purchase order or contract, and beyond.

Our documentation and customer service teams will support your sales and after-sales service. If you are motivated and results-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Present our company and products as an established player in the food, beverage, and supplement industries
  • Win the confidence and trust of potential customers through regular calls, emails, and face to face meetings
  • Make our organization the go-to place for food ingredients for our customers
  • Report to the supervisor on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) new development/sales results
  • Around 40-60 days travelling within the United States annually
  • Typical day involves 2-3 hours of calling and 5 hours of emailing when working in the office
  • Promptly and accurately record customer information and sales activities within CRM

Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Representative, Account Manager or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (Phone calls, email, face to face meeting)
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) is a plus
  • Understanding of the food, beverage industry, or nutritional supplement is a plus
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent
