JOB FILLED - Account Manager - E-Commerce & Retail Execution

We are currently seeking an Account Manager to join our very successful sales team (Remote or Onsite).

As an Account Manager here at Lundberg, you will be charged with delivering the sales, trade, and profit plan for your respective business. The Account Manager is responsible for building account-specific business plans that address key customer opportunities, competitive threats, and distribution/space/pricing/promotion direction. Position is largely E-Commerce & Retail Execution focused.

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver profitable sales growth against targeted customers; meet sales and trade budgets for assigned accounts within the annual operating plan (AOP)
• Achieve sales goals by effectively developing relationships with customer (retailer, distributor) as well as broker
• Analyze both syndicated data (Nielsen/SPINS etc.) and direct customer data to understand trends and opportunities at respective customers, integrating those insights into account-specific business plans
• Work with Marketing/Shopper Marketing team to develop promotional and customer programs to support/achieve the customer selling agenda
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead large, fast-growing, and emerging customers
• Strong understanding of major retail channels of business including natural chain retailers and e-commerce
• Excellent collaboration, organizational and communication skills, including building compelling, fact-based presentations for customers

Ability to partner with internal functions to ensure delivery of effective business plans (Customer Marketing, Finance/Trade, Operations, Transportation, Agriculture)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or other related field with progressive managerial responsibilities
• 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the consumer-packaged goods industry

Preferred

• Experience working directly with regional (to national) retailers and distributors.
• Proven experience across 1-2 retail channels of business including natural and ecommerce
