JOB FILLED - Territory Sales Representative - Midwest

Job Description: 

iLevel Brands is looking for a Midwest Territory Sales Representative. The ideal candidate would be based near a major airport, i.e., Chicago or Detroit and cover Wisconsin, Michigan, Missouri, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, and Minnesota.

About the position:
The job requires a friendly and enthusiastic phone personality who can articulate any product’s value proposition to decision-makers in the natural food industry. The Midwest Territory Sales Manager will have an established account base to work from and will also help uncover new opportunities in the market.

Duties include:

  • Cultivate a network of influential contacts at all levels to achieve sales objectives within assigned territory.
  • Tailor selling strategies to influence stores to order additional products to increase incremental sales and incremental points of distribution
  • Hit the phones hard and generate new business (no cold calling – these customers/retailers are already buying products that we represent).
  • You will be provided with high quality leads to chase down monthly.
  • Complete and submit electronic reports of daily and weekly activities, competitive activity, and account changes

Qualifications:

  • While experience selling natural and organic products is not a prerequisite, interest in wellness and natural products is a must. Experience working in the natural food industry is a HUGE plus.
  • BA preferred
  • 3-5 years’ sales or customer service experience
  • Proven success in sales call strategies
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Must be comfortable analyzing sales data (in the form of spreadsheets) and developing actionable sales targets based on that data
  • Creative presentation/public speaking and premium selling skills are a must
  • Well-developed influence and negotiation skills; persistent and persuasive
  • Detail oriented and organized; excellent time management
  • Innovative and creative in approaching accounts and expanding business
  • Professional demeanor in working with coworkers, distributors, retail reps and consumers- Sales or Marketing experience a plus
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Able to formulate account strategies and execute against them
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must have daily access to wireless internet 

Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary depending on experience. All travel expenses are covered. After 60 days you will be eligible to join our health insurance plan.
