Job Description: 

Green Spoon Sales is excited to announce the formation of a new and unique business team, dedicated to the support of emerging brands. Green Spoon’s accelerator program will specialize in helping emerging brands strategize, focus and scale. All at affordable costs with experienced natural CPG experts.
 
Accelerator is a team separate from Green Spoon Sales dedicated to delivering best-in-class access to the strategic retail partners needed to catapult brands into CPG relevance.

Driven by the desire to transform the retail landscape, our team helps brands gain access to retail stores and shelf space, in addition to driving sales through marketing and promotions.

Green Spoon’s accelerator is looking for a Vice President to lead this exciting new team by helping brands build strategic business plans and drive execution from the accelerator team‍.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Incubator team to provide best-in-class performance for brand partners by motivating with metric-driven accountability.
  • Help set key performance initiatives for team and track progress toward success.
  • Coach and mentor team on developing best practices to scale brand partners with distributors and retailers in the natural space.   
  • Demonstrate understanding of how to navigate and win key natural retailers and distributors including but not limited to, Whole Foods Market, Sprouts, NCG, INFRA, The Fresh Market, UNFI and KeHE.
  • Help build strategic go-to-market strategies with brand partners for Incubator team to execute.
  • Proven ability to use syndicated data(SPINs, Nielsen, WFM Portal, distributor reporting) to craft strategies and selling-stories with brand partners.
  • Navigating conflict resolution toward collaborative and constructive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and improve processes.

Measurable Objectives

  • Manage Incubator team to hit key distribution metrics for brand partners.
  • Build and present metrics and results to Executive Team monthly.
  • Coach and mentor Incubator team with thoughtful and constructive support.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will be located in the Denver/Boulder, CO Metro area.
  • 10+ years in senior management/leadership in Natural CPG industry.
  • Experience calling on and relationships with key natural retailers including but not limited to: Whole Foods Market ,Sprouts, NCG, INFRA, The Fresh Market, UNFI and KeHE.
  • Proven experience managing a team of sales professionals.
  • Proven experience scaling brands in natural channel.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in using syndicated data including not limited to: SPINs, Nielsen, WFM Portal, distributor reporting.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Must own a smart phone and computer to perform duties. Green Spoon supplies Microsoft Office Suite.
